At Utility Results we offer a comprehensive new connections procurement service which will provide you with all the available possibilities to enable you to make an informed decision for your new development.
We will work with you to understand your requirements as well as provide value engineering solutions as much as we can to ensure there is no money left on the table when it comes to potential rebates on offer.
Once we fully understand your requirements, we will create a Service Strip Drawing which is used to show the most efficient and practicable routes around site for your new cables/pipes/ducts and is used in our tender process so the quotes we receive are all like for like. We will also clash check this with any proposed underground drainage.
We then go out to the incumbent host networks to obtain Point of Connection offers which we then use to work up a full scope with Independent Connection Providers (ICP). By doing this we’re able to ensure there are no scope gaps and avoid any large, unexpected variations in the future as much as possible.
When all tenders have been returned, we conduct a thorough review to make sure that they are fit for purpose and match your requirements, if there are any discrepancies we will go back to the ICP for amendments. Once we’re satisfied, a full tender breakdown is provided comparing all the options, detailing out inclusions/exclusions that are unique to each ICP.
Due to our impartiality and independence, we’re able to go to the entire market to ensure you get the best deal that matches your requirements.
When you’re ready to progress, we will be on hand to guide you through the design process right up to onsite installation and energisation. We will also be there to help smooth out any unforeseen obstacles that may occur.
