Utility Results were approached by a landowner of a site in Wandsworth, who were working with a Developer to complete a sale of the land for the construction of an apartment complex. One of the pre-sale requirements was the diversion of services within the footpath in proximity to the proposed building footprint / basement and moving them into the adjacent carriageway.
Upon investigation, Utility Results established that UKPN HV/LV cables, a Cadent Low-Pressure gas main, a Thames Water trunk main, and Virgin Media / Openreach fibre assets all needed diverting.
Quotes were obtained to divert all of these assets, and after extensive planning with all involved and TfL, Utility Results successfully managed a collaborative programme of works over eight weeks to divert all of these utilities from the footpath to the carriageway.
Once complete, the sale of the land was able to successfully complete and the Developer was able to commence works on site.
